Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forum.

 

A very thought provoking video by some good friends (yes even the one in the stupid baseball cap)

Definitely moving and great video overall. I'm just never sure i get how much of this is skiing vs some form of rock and ice climbing and even when people do steeps of this magnitude, they simply sidestep down the mountain which doesn't look like skiing to me. Also never sure we got the answer to what's in his mind and why guys like this do what he does.

I'm always at the crossroads between thinking he's some mystical magical character or just a complete nutcase.

In Chamonix the sort of lines Andreas is skiing in the movie would not be a line for everyone, but they are not some sort of mythical decent. 

 

There are probably more than 100 skiing at a similar but not equal level on a regular basis.

A variation of the line was skied in "the ordinary skier" with Seth Morison being added by a few fiends ;)
