Urgent - BC boot fitting tomorrow and need help

Hi guys,

Need urgent help. Got a heavily discounted pair of Lange Superblaster 120s with custom foot beds and a foam injected liner from mates at Surefoot a couple of seasons ago. Was too good to turn down but probably not the kit I was after (last was too narrow and too much flex albeit this is marginal at my weight)....I have had unbelievable problems since (boot is too tight in the forefoot leading to hotspots, loss of circulation and numbness within 15 minutes). I have been to countless Surefoots and other boot fitters to get more room in the boot but haven't chalked up a win yet...

I have a demanding foot (extremely wide, bunions, poor circulation) and am in urgent need of a good boot fitter in Whistler tomorrow. Was going to make a day of it if possible. Want to consider doing away with my liners (don't know if I believe in the technology and they provide negligible insulation) for intuition liners and blowing out the shell even more but failing that, would be prepared to start again from scratch. If anyone can comment on intuition liners (performance and warmth) or point me in the direction of a knowledgeable boot fitter in whistler then please let me know before tomorrow. Any help would be greatly appreciated and improve a ski trip which has so far been a let down.

Cheers

fanatico in whistler is good I hear.

intuition liners are warm and light, but you need a shell that fits first...  then add them if needed.

Don't throw away good money after bad, if your boots don't fit then stop paying for bootwork on them and get some boots that fit. I really like Intuition liners, I think they can take a well fit shell to new levels, but you need to start with a well fit shell.
