Boot liner pinching inside of ankle. How do I fix?

New Head Adapt Edge 100 Boots. No issues when I tried them on and bought them. Just skied in them for the first time and they are pinching bad above the heel. Boots fit great otherwise. Is there anyway to fix/adjust the liners? Have a trip in early Feb to CO and I need them fixed. Suggestions welcome.

Carl,

The shell could be ground where it impinges on the back of the heel---or it may be as simple as having the liners heated around the heel cup

and then put them on and push into the heel area.

is this on the back of the heel, or the side of the foot?

also that is HUGE volume boot.  it might be that you are ONLY touching in that part of the boot,   a "C" shapped pad around the ankle might help?
hard to say as we can't see the boot, the foot etc

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I had the liners heated and fitted and they felt great the whole time. Before I got out of the lodge they were pinching bad. It almost feels like a seam in the heel foam.

I know it's hard to make suggestions with limited info. Shell fit was good, boot fit felt great and my heel does not move when I ski. I just didn't know how much you could fix liners with out destroying them because I am happy with the fit. I tried Vectors, Nordica's, Rossi, Technica and Dalbello and couldn't find anything that worked. Foot size is 13, boot size is 29.5. 7-8 level skier. 6'6" 210 lbs. raced a long time ago and spent 30 days a year skiing but now go west once a year and ski 5-6 times. Thanks for your input!

do you have Pump Bumps? a bump, usually on the outside of the heel?

No bumps on the outside of the ankle. Only bumps are that bone that sticks out. Pinch point on both boots is just at that bone or slightly above it on the inside.
