My boyfriend has recently taken up skiing. He's currently low-intermediate and improving fast. His cousin is a serious skier with same-size feet and handed down decent boots after an upgrade, so he just needs skis. I'm looking for something used but fairly recent that he can use as a good general ski, and that will continue to be suitable as his abilities improve. Budgets are tight, and he's hardly an expert, so I'm looking to spend <$300. Does anyone have something like that they want to unload?
Inexpensive skis approx. 165 cm. for low-intermediate skier

I have a couple that fit your description:
Head i.Peak 74 FLR (lengh 163cm) - used maybe 7-8 times tops.
Fisher Motive 80 (length 161cm) - used around 7-8 times as well.
Both are 2011 models, very good condition and with factory bindings. Both will fit your budget with shipping included or, if you are in NYC, you can pick them up in person and save even more:)
