Little toe has knot on it, starts to hurt after day 2 of skiing

I live in Texas, only get to ski once a year. Have a pair of Salomon Performa 8. Bought new from ski shop around 05. In between the time I purchased and now I "stumped" my little toe....think I broke it. Now I have a knot on outside of little toe.
After a couple of days of skiing it starts to hurt, feels like it's burning.
What can be done to adjust the boot? Can it be heated and stretched? Ground out?
I'm headed to Beaver creek in Feb. Will have some time to work on this the day we arrive as we are not skiing until the next day.
Looking forward to your expert advice.

should be a few good boot fitters in that area, that will have lots of tricks to help you.

either add padding on eiter side of the point, or a bit more room for the point.   Either way, getting the pressure on the side of your foot balanced out.
