Resources for those of us with two different size feet?

I've heard stories about others like me... are there enough of us out there that multiple solutions have been found?

My solution for the last few years has been to wear two different size boots but I'd really like to dismiss with the expense and the headache when I purchase my next pair.

So, iirc my left foot is 294mm and my right is 282mm.  Currently in Dalbello Krypton Pros, 28 and 29 (325, 335).

Options I've explored so far are Dalbello KR2 Fusion in 28.  iirc this is also 325 bsl.  Left boot will need a lot of work but is doable, right is a fair bit loose in the ankle already.  Also tried the Fischer Vacuum RC4 130 in 28 the right was a dream the left just wouldn't expand enough to accommodate the extra length.  Have a pair of RC4 130s in 29 on order but I'm not optimistic about it's chances.

Boot guys, I'm sure you've come up against worse problems than mine.  Do I have other options?

fit the boot for the smaller foot, then make modifications for the longer foot. any boot fitter worth his salt can accommodate an 8 mm length differential.

where are you located, perhaps we can direct you to a boot fitter with skill.

Thanks for the response, Jim.  I'm in Ann Arbor, Michigan and the difference is actually 12mm.

You've described what I've been trying to do but no luck so far.

My apologies for starting this thread at such a busy time.

Here's a fairly specific question for those of you who work with the Fischer Vacuum boot:

In regards to using the Vacuum system to fit a larger boot to a smaller foot, what is the largest shell fit that you would consider for a skier wanting a performance fit?

Today I did a shell fit with the 29 my left foot is somewhere around 8mm fit and my right is 20mm.  I'm game for a 360# squeeze, do any of you guys think there's any chance to make the right one fit?

One tactic that was discussed was using in Intuition plug liner in the left boot and a Power Wrap on the right.

Also, I'm not sure if I'm using the correct model info.  The boot in question is the Vacuum 130 but not the Pro.  It's black and white.

Thanks
=)

I think Starhaus did a good job with your question.
