Friends, I am looking for a pair of these for my dear wife. She is a strong intermediate skier who is better than she thinks she is. Her size is appx 5'2 and about 120 lbs. Our home hill is Sugarloaf (Maine) so this ski would get all kinds of stuff thrown at it. Currently, she skis on a pair of VIST carving skis in 157cm. These are stiff boards (67cm waist), made more so by VIST plates. And she loves them,as I do my versions of this ski. SInce the Blizzards will be considerably easier to handle, and she will be using them more in soft/powder, I am thinking she should go up to the 166cm vs the 159cm, and especially since there is an early tip rise.
Appreciate the suggestions - and for binding choices as well. I am thinking the Marker Squire to keep the ski light.
PS: Trich - you out there? (remember me - "Desperate 1"?)
