I am buying new skis in the next few days. I ski mostly in Tahoe at Northstar, but occasionally tackle Mammoth or Utah/Colorado. I like to ski groomers, powder and a bit of trees. I'm looking for skis that can basically handle anything pretty well, and i definitely want to be able to carve at decent speeds. I'm an intermediate to advanced skier. I've skied my whole life, but haven't had the chance to get out much in recent years. I'll be consistently skiing in the next few years so that is why I am looking into buying a pair right now. I would say I get about 20-30 days a year, depending.
I've been looking at the Armada TST's and the Blizzard Bonafides because they have been recommended to me and Ive done a bit of research into all-mountain skis. I demo'd the bonafides today and really liked them, but they seemed a bit stiff and cumbersome. I might just not be used to skiing since it was my first day this season. Let me know what you guys think.
Any answers are appreciated!
