Goood link ! Really good.
Clicked through on the Fischer link and they say the Progressor lineup will be disappearing in 2013/14 but then don't make mention of a replacement carving ski lineup. What the ...? From where I sit it's hard to imagine Fischer without some serious carving skis. Hell, three of us bought a friend of mine a pair of Progressor 9+ for his birthday last year, and there's no higher praise to be found. Something must be replacing that line, although (I guess) the specs and name aren't yet finalised.
I'm going with "Koz 73" being the Koa. Wish these 'professional' people would proof read their own work (assuming it wasn't a transposition error).
The Kastle LX92 is disappearing? Crap! I was considering a pair of those. And the BMX78 and BMX88 are also disappearing ... meh!
Can I just say that I really, really like Nordica's approach to shadowing the rocker profile of their skis. For a while now I've been thinking that something needs to be done to provide more information about the rocker / rise profile of the ski. These days the usual sidecut stats and construction spiel are only 67% of the story, and I'm always left wanting a profile shot in some way, shape or form. Love their approach. Great work!
... and the Enforcer is going to die. That will be a sad day. A great ski over a lot of years, and the other half of the same friend's quiver.
