Your Stocklis are at the top end of the range for you, but are not 'too long'. The decision often depends on where and how you ski. Wider, open terrain v's smaller hills. I'm 6'4" and 210lbs and, with that ski, I'd be choosing between the 186 and the next size down (I'm guessing a 178). I think I'd opt for the 178 as that size would be more versatile for my local hill (local conditions can get hard / refrozen and crowded - like typical US east coast conditions). If I were spending more time skiing on the US west coast I'd probably opt for the 186cm.
Lovely skis by the way. From a lovely wife, it would seem
Also (and especially with Stockli skis) it will depend how much energy you put into the ski. If you're the type of skier who skis fast and/or aggressively, and likes to bend the ski to get some energy back coming out of the turn, then you'll be ok on the longer ski (while also taking the above paragraph into account). If you're less aggressive - more of a finesse skier - then I would respectfully say the 186 Stockli is likely to work you over, rather than the reverse. They're a stiff, powerful ski.
If you're at all hesitant I'd say rent skis for the trip and exchange for the next size down (assuming that's possible).
Best of luck, and enjoy your trip.
