I do not feel that my toes are freezing off, if that's what you are asking lol. I know they are colder than the rest of my feet (that is obvious), not exactly toasty and comfortable, but not really unbearable or affecting my skiing ability either. I only notice that when I'm standing around slacking off. I can wiggle my toes very slightly (more like slightly trembling...not exactly roomy as in my sneakers lol) but that does not bother me. I felt I had a good tight fit out of the box apart from the pressure point underneath my arches. And no numbness or jammed toes (my toes are brushing the tip of the liner if I stand straight) either. I have very flat feet (basically no arch at all) that are somewhat pronated, very low instep (I think the Lange XT 130's instep is still a bit high for me. Salomon Quest Max 130's instep is about right.), and 102 last happening close to mid foot rather than the very front. I need relatively squared toe boxes so cannot fit in Technica Cochise 120 Pro Light very well. My feet are pretty abducted too.
It was nothing biggie...just the 12-13 one I got was one size too large so I tend to over buckle them. Plus I like the green on the 13-14.
Cool (no pun intended). Thanks for the clarification LaserPower. Obviously, many others have shared and are experiencing EXTREME cold and discomfort in the toe box region of their particular boot models in comparison to you. I'm please to share, consistent with your generally positive experience to date, that the Fischer Ranger models our surely one of the more important and valuable choices out there, based on how you've described your "very flat feet" and abducted stance. Congrats on your boot success and thanks for being such a great skiing consumer. If Fischer reads these post, they may contact you for color selection advice for next season real soon!
