Sorry for the triple post.

Here's a link to most of the different strains of marijuana and their respective effects.  You'll notice that each strain is unique in its medicinal properties that help: anxiety, depression, lack of appetite, fatigue, migraines, muscle spasms, insomnia, nausea ,seizures, stress.  Some strains induce more feelings of: aroused, creative, energetic, euphoric, focused, giggly, happy, hungry, lazy, sleepy, talkative, tingly, uplifted.

Ah, yes.  I should be more careful with someone who is such a stickler for facts.

But which ones are quality strains and which are not?  That was your original point, wasn't it?

Yeah, I'm definitely gonna agree that different strains produce vastly different highs!!!! No question about it.

Might go down into SLT tonight and watch all the drunk people make utter fools of themselves, Blunts=rolled, this should be pure comedy.

Happy New Years ya dirty hippies!!!!!!

Huh? These are all chronic strains, the best you can get. They are all high quality. This ain't that mexican brick weed that used to flood into this country back in the 80s when growing marijuana could get you thrown into prison for 30 years. These strains are the result of expert cultivation and breeding.  Are you starting to get the picture?

Hate to tell you this, but it still comes into the US.  You can get half a zip loc sandwhich bag of it for $20.  Good luck picking out all the stems and seeds.  Then, good luck getting high off of it.

Really?  I haven't seen that stuff in years.  But I imagine down closer to the border, in places like Texas where marijuana is THE DEVIL'S WEED, it's fairly prevalent. But if you get caught trying to sell that stuff around here you'll get run outta town.  If it's brown, flush it down.

Well, when your main source for good old american bud would come from So Cal, and it becomes a felony to have more than a gram of weed in Phoenix, crossing the border is the safest way!  Yaaaaay cartel support!!

Brownies are the best way to use marijuana if you don't want to get high. More weed is destroyed in the production of brownies than by herbicides or burning of confiscated material. Simply put, baking weed in brownies is drug abuse.

Whatchoo talkin bout Willis? I got high as f*** eating brownies.

He has no idea what he's talking about.  One of his buddies probably broke up some weed and put it in a batch of brownies and burned it all up.  I doubt he has any idea that you make butter first, then use the butter.

Get that stem out of your teeth yet, nobodycaresthatyoutelerod?

I have not read this thread.

My two cents:

If someone who is impaired (drunk or stoned,) hits me on the hill, they should be charged with negligence causing bodily harm and I should be able to sue them for 100% of the damages.

You know all them people getting killed by drunk drivers?  Well, that's because alcohol impairs your cognitive and physical abilities in ways that marijuana simply does not.  You hardly, if ever hear of someone getting high and then crashing their car.  In fact, chances are, someone who is high is more thoughtful about what he's doing behind the wheel. Getting drunk and skiing is absolutely stupid and irresponsible because you're putting yourself and others at risk.  Getting high and skiing is good times...and safe. And I know all this from a vast amount of experience.

Oh, c'mon... people get high and crash their cars all the time.  Granted, it's usually going about 2 mph in the parking lot of a KFC, but none-the-less.  wink.gif

Pot porn.

I know a guy who's 17 year old son ran over his little sister in the driveway and killed her while he was stoned.  He forgot was there playing in the yard for a moment.  People do lots of stupid things while high.  Motor coordination and reaction time isn't as totaled as it gets on alcohol, but tell me you've been really stoned a lot and never done anything really stupid that you wouldn't have done sober and I'll call you a lying mothaker.  Never suddenly felt totally lost for a moment or short period of time forgetting how to get to that very familiar place you were going to?  Never sat staring at something reading it six times trying to get through it without being distracted and losing focus?

Ya, pot ain't totally harmless, but it is far less dangerous than alcohol.

Well, unlike drunken driving accidents, there's no way to tell if marijuana played any part in that accident with the 17 year old.  It's just as likely that he was displaying typical 17 year old behavior i.e. was in a hurry, wasn't being cautious, didn't check his mirrors, whatever. And when the cops blood-tested him there was THC in his system.  Well, there's THC in your system if you smoked a month ago.  Either way, pulling up references to extremely rare occurrences to make a point is not effective. Your example is the exception, not the rule.  Basically you're resorting to scare tactics, a typical method of debate for those who have little experience with the topic they're discussing.

And you seem to be forgetting something about skiing and smoking.  See, you smoke, then you ski.  You don't sit on your couch for 4 hours getting so baked that you lose all association with reality.

OG kush and Jack Herer this evening.  If you haven't had the JH I can assure you it's one of the most wicked creepers you've ever shmoked.
