Merry Christmas to Bears (a work in progress)

If Santa was a Skier

He'd probably be a Bear...

...Have some spirit(s) and add a few lines!

His sleigh rails would be waxed well

Sharp edges always there...

Merry Christmas to all of you. You help keep me sane and goad me into penury.

Fun day on the hill today. Mixed rain and snow, not a soul in sight. Slushy, foggy, eerily silent. Tonight turning to real snow I think. Best to all.

If Santa was a skier,

He’d probably be a bear

He’d fly without a care or fear

Float light without a care.

He’d sail across a night of stars

Paint wonder clear and true

Know right from wrong, up close, afar,

Glow bright, sincere, smile too.

He’s dance across the slopes each day

Play nice, not roar, imbue

the moments short with gratitude

live, dream, stand tall, shine through.

Thank you for wrapping it up so nicely, Ski Spirit! There's way too little ski poetry in the world.

Thanks Nolo.  Maybe that's because the act of skiing is poetry.  That's how I think of it anyway!
