Need help with ski size

Looking into getting the sir francis bacon. I'm 30 yrs old 5'5" 145-150lbs. Ski mostly on east coast and in the woods. Go out west once or twice a year n want to get more into BC skiing. Don't know what size to get 165 or 172. Do these skis ski shorter due to the tip and tail rocker and early rise?

I'd say 172 if you are a strong skier.  They will ski short because of the rocker.

Not sure if they have the 165 on the Bacon. I'm about your size 5'5" and 148 lbs. I ski the Prophet 98 @ 172 and they are very easy skis to control, I had no problems at all on them last weekend on my first 4 days on them. 172 Bacons are going to be easy as well for you, and you probably could go 178 as well, since the running surface on the Bacons are shorter than the P98. But probably the 172 will also work.
