What diameter bit to drill Blizzard Bushwackers

Thread Starter

I am wondering if anyone here knows whether or not Bushwackers have metal sheets in them that require a 4.1 mm drill bit and a tap. I know that I can drill with a 3.5mm bit and see if I get metal, but I am not using a jig, and it is easier to keep the hole centered if I don't have to enlarge it.

I posted this in the ski tuning section, but I didn't get a reply.

4.1x9.5

Metal sheet is visible if you look at the sidewall. It is a sheet for mounting that falls under the binding. This is the only metal that the Bushwacker has and simply aids in screw retention. All Blizzard flat skis have a metal mounting sheet and all should be drilled with a 4.1.
