The fourth area in the INSA - Ski the Northwest Rockies association is 49 Degrees North.  Located about 1:15 north of Spokane, just east of Chewelah, 49 boasts their expansions into the East Basin and Angel Peak.  With predominantly north facing aspects, the snow at 49 is almost always predictably light and good.  There are plenty of gladed powder options and lots of little stashes all around that make skiing there like having you own mountain.  If you're ever in this region for business or traveling around, a stop at 49 Degrees North is a worthwhile goal.
