Ski Club Appreciation Days - Stowe Vermont

Anyone going? You'll have to copy and paste the link into a new browser page.

file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Compaq_Administrator/My%20Documents/12-13SkiClubAppreciationFlyer.pdf

Stowe resort offers these dates 3 times a year to New Jersey Ski Clubs.

While I do not know for sure, it would seem to make sense for them to offer it to all New England Clubs at the same time. There is contact info on the flyer to find out. You definitely need a valid club card and picture ID.

The December dates have passed but Jan 9-11 and March 13-17 are coming up.

This is a pretty good deal. As you can see, local motels even participate with discounted rates. I'll be there skiing Jan 9-11 with a three day lift ticket for $98. You can buy up to a 5 day ticket for $152.

I know of 6 people going from my club. I have gone for the past 4 years in January and usually see 8-10 people I know. I'm new to this forum and it would be great to meet a few people from here that have the same passion as I do.

You may PM me with any questions.

My Pa. based ski club distributed info on the  Stowe Ski Club appreciation week. It appears open to all eastern states, can't see why they would limit it to certain areas.  It's a great deal, and, depending on schedule, attending is a thought rolling through my brain.

We can't see your link as it's hosted on your local hard drive, not on the web somewhere.  You should be able to add it as an attachment here though (look for the little paper clip icon in the "reply" window).

I see the paper clip along side the pdf file, but clicking on it only brings up "search attachment"

I tried click and drag too, no luck there.

Also tried clicking on the paper clip on this page. I get "you don't have permissions to create attachments" Guess I could email it to someone on this forum that has permission.

Great, that confirms it. All NE ski clubs. Now if I could only figure out how to post a pdf file to save from typing it all.

Lot's of areas participate in this program, not only Stowe. This is a partial list of participating areas with dates & rates from the CSC. I know some NY areas are also participating but I don't have that link.

Much appreciated. I'm sending this to my contacts at New Jersey Ski Council to see if NJ Ski Club cards are honored as well,

for all of the mountains listed other than Stowe.

I can give you the answer already. Yes they are honored. You'll need to have this years sticker from your council on your club membership card. My club belongs to both the Ski Council of NJ & Metropolitan Ski Council & I've already received this years stickers for both.

My experience has been that early season, (January) Stowe has had a decent amount of terrain open.

Last year they had 72 trails open during the January Customer Appreciation Days, including

all three areas, Big Spruce, Gondola and Mt. Mansfield. We even got a bit of tree skiing in

two years ago thanks to a 12" snowfall while we were there.

Thanks all - posting such as this just strengthens the value of epic.

Thanks to a foot of new snow over the last 24 hours and 2-3 feet over the last week

Stowe now is boasting 89 trails out of 114

This "Ski club appreciation days" deal gets offered to clubs in other areas also.

A young guy from Stowe Resort has visited DC the past 5 years and offered this deal to a ski

club in DC.

One catch is neither DC ski club I'm in issues an ID card, which seems to be needed. I think he

said you could waive a club magazine with your name/address at them.
