Salomon Enduro XT 800 as an "Inbounds AT Ski"?

I can get a good deal on this ski and was considering a 175 cm length (I'm 6' and 145 lbs.) for an AT setup specifically for skinning at resorts when there's no natural snow  (so mostly hard-packed, manmade snow).  Performance goal is stability (minimum vibration and chatter) at high speeds.

Pair comes in at around 8 lbs., which seems reasonable and I'm just not sure what I'm missing in terms of why this might not work. (?)
