Looks like you guys/gals speak sometimes about the old Nava system? Anyone out there know of a set of bindings for sale? I bought a set new in the 80's and they were challenging, but comfortable. The problem I had was getting enough tip pressure to turn easily. The spring-loaded calf lever tended to cause the tips to rise, and with no stiff forward boot to lean against, it was entirely up to the user's calves/ankles to generate the necessary ski tip pressure.

Although I no longer have the bindings, I wonder if it might be worth another shot now, since I'm older and comfort is more of a priority, and I'm spending most of my time on green/blue slopes teaching our kids. If you know of some bindings for sale, I'd appreciate a PM.
