Snow Boarder needs help on selecting used ski

I've been boarding for quite awhile, but am headed to Alta for a week...and boards are a no no there!  I also have two small boys who are just learning to ski, and figure having a pair will help with the training...

I mostly board/ski Vermont, and live in Boston.

So, I have been researching the Dynstar Sultan 80's and 85's....and the Elan Magfire TIs.  Your thoughts?

I was always agressive on skis...and advanced skier... but not an expert.  I'm not big on mogul runs, more all mountain type of skiing.  Love long turns.

I am new to shape skis...learning that the fat boards love the powder, and less fat boards hold the ice...so this may be tough given the Alta...but back east season ahead!

Thanks...

By the way....also need some input on size.  I am 5'8" and 175 lbs.  I have had folks tell me 160 and 165...but others said 172 !

160-165 would be about right for a legit slalom ski.  172-178 would be more appropriate for a ski like the Sultan.
