To say it's been dry is an understatement.  We were finally blessed with a hand worth of snow.  Snowmass Village golf Course.  The snow was skiing nicely with rossi BC 190s uphill on the Two Creeks side.

We might finally be a ski resort again.

pitiful to see. At least you would not need much of a base if you could ski is over that nice grass everywhere.

hopefully things will get better soon.  I am so pessamistic about this season.  It is raining hard here in Buffalo NY today.  I have banff booked and looking at aspen in March, but starting to reconsider even though it is a long ways away

Tetons, Wasatch, Northern and Central Colorado (Steamboat, Aspen, Vail, Monarch) all will grab 3-7 inches from this afternoon through Tuesday. A potent storm is likely for the 4 corners of Colorado by Friday Night and into the weekend

That's actually on a golf course in the valley.  Our slopes are pretty grassy though and a lot steeper.

We got 15" up top out of this storm, so it's starting.  I think you'd be fine in March, I know I'll be there!

Here's a short clip from the same day up on the mountain, base was a little thin, but overall it was a good time!

I would not worry at all about March, last year notwithstanding.  A lean early season is not that uncommon in Colorado, but a March meltdown is rarer, and getting both in the same season extremely unlucky.  Even February is likely to be OK with the usual small steady snowfalls between now and then.  If you're scheduled before mid-January, then I would try to bail out and go somewhere else.
