I've done a bit of googling and it seems that most of the responses are about the OP trolling.
I am not trolling.
Skip TO THE POINT if you want.
I'm currently at Park City, and am renting skis. I am a 5"8, 75kg male.
I ski at an intermediate level.
I rented a "high-performance" ski, and was given the Volkl Fuegos (158cm)
They seemed alright in the shop so I took them. I won't be using them until tomorrow morning (it's 6pm now).
Researched the ski tonight and seems to be a women's ski.
I'm wondering if I should take them back and ask for a mens' ski as the shop is right at the lift I'll be going up first tomorrow, so it wouldn't be an inconvenience.
The main reason I'm asking is because I read today that a woman using a mens ski is more likely to tear her ACL, so I thought there could be reverse repercussions from a male perspective.
TO THE POINT:
Rented Volkl Fuego
Researched and seems to be womens
Should I change it before going up the slopes tomorrow
Thanks in advance for your responses.
