they really aren't playing well

Didn't see the AusvIrl game but I heard it was good.
NZ - Wales on the other hand I did watch - great game. I did find myself cheering for the Welsh at one point then realised the significance if they won so swapped back to the All Blacks.
Wales played so well, all credit to them, slightly worried about the quarters now!! It'll be nice to beat Ireland in the semi-s though!!!

Looking good for tickets to the semis and final yeh har ... hope the wallabies are playing. Like to see the Engaland match who ever they play.

So...France outside favourites now?

Sorry Fox.

What happened there? Looked like Ireland only woke up in the second half...

The first half was staggering. On the few occasions we got in their 22, they always escaped.
Oh well, at least we played better in the 2nd half.

There's always the next time...

Okay have now officially been invited to the Aust - Kiwi game on saturday night. Water taxi from town to the ground and more Heiniken. Have to behave as my boys are coming along as well. Hard toss up between saturday night and Engaland vis France on Sunday but the wallabies need all the support they can get. The smart money was on NZ early in the year. My English\Kiwi connections are looking at cleaning up if the All Blacks win the whole sheebang.

Go the Wallabies

Go to the game! It should be a good one.

I had the choice of either Sat or Sun. My boys want to see the Wallabies so Sat it is.

And now all you have to do is get tickets to see them again next weekend!
Excellent match, but there was a lot of injuries.
Hope you can field the best team for the final.

That was a good match. The Kiwis didn't know what hit them, and never recovered. Wallies lifted their speed and intensity, moving the ball faster...I still saw stuff I didn't like, but it was a massive improvement. Hope the French beat the Poms, as it'll really annoy the Poms, and I'd like to see what the French do in the Grand Final (not that I'll see it).

Wonderful, wonderful, simply wonderful. Cheered and stomped and sung and jumped around and punched the air for 80 solid minutes of brilliant Rugby.

GO YOU GOOD THING, who wooda thunk it !!!!

The stands where full of English supporters who where very worried about France tonight. After watching the Wallabies put together a solid all-round performance with brilliant defence the Barmy Army is one nervous wreck.

Viva La France

No ticket to the final for me. Used up my Rugby treats for this RWC. Last nights game will do me for a long time.

England V France
Final Score: 24-7

Final is England VS Australia. My (somewhat hopeful) prediction:
1. Australia
2. England
3. NZ

A little RWC joke for you:

The seven dwarfs went off to work in the mine one day, while Snow White stayed at home to do the housework and cook their lunch.

However, when she went to the mine to deliver their lunches, she found there had been a cave-in, and there was no sign of the dwarfs.

Tearfully she yelled in to the mine entrance: "Hello - is anyone there. Can anyone hear me?"

A voice floated up from the bowels of the mine: "Australia will win the Rugby World Cup".

"Thank God!" said Snow White, "at least Dopey's still alive!"

And a joke for you:

A guy walks into a bar with a dachshund under
his arm. The dog is wearing a England rugby
jersey and is festooned with England pom-poms.
The bartender says, "Hey! No pets are
allowed! You'll have to leave."

The guy begs him, "Look, I'm desperate! We're
both big fans, the TV's broken at home, and this
is the only place around where we can see the

After securing a promise that the dog will
behave, and warning him that he and the dog will
be thrown out if there's any trouble, the bartender
relents and allows them to stay in the bar and
watch the game. The big game begins with the
poms receiving the kickoff. They march down
field, get stopped at the 22, and kick a penalty

Suddenly, the dog jumps up on the bar and begins
walking up and down the bar giving high-fives
to everyone. The bartender says, "Wow, that is
the most amazing thing I've seen! What does the
dog do if they score a try?"

The owner replies, "I don't know, I've only
had him for three years."

Ha ha he heh 3 tickets to the final in my hand. Ya coming Fooks

Us Wallaby supporters are gonna sing our hearts out and drown out that swing low drone like we did last week. Johnny Beckam has no chance against a whole team of scraggly tough Wallabies hungry for victory over the pommie soccer rejects.
If any of you Yanks get the chance to watch the game you will see a match up of one of international sports greatest rivalries. The jailers vis the convicts. No pads, no time outs, no steroids and no stripy pyjamas. 80mins of body, blood, sweat, fast action (well on the wallaby side anyway) and PAINNNNNNNN

Be afraid …. Be very afraid

Beneath our radiant Sydney skies,
We'll keep the ball in hand,
To beat the pommies with our tries,
Victors o'er Eng-er-land
We've boundless penalties to score,
With courage let us all combine,
To Advance Australia Fair.
In joyful strains then let us sing,
Advance Australia Fair.

I was going to say good luck for tomorrow Oz but realised that it is going to sound sarcastic however I manage to say it but I do mean Good Luck and may the best team win.

Should be a great match - even if World Cup Finals are normally shocking matches.

I'll keep it short and sweet then..... Good Luck tomorrow.

Yeah, maybe it's got something to do with a Mr Wilkinson?

Fantastic. What can I say. 80,000+ fans in the stands with no idea who is gonna win for 99.5 mins. JW unloads as was dictated by the fates and the red and whites carry off the Cup.

Just got home. Had a great time. ALL the fans on boths sides where shell shocked by the intense atmosphere and it was hugs, kisses and hand shakes all round at match end.

Loke the English fans had a ball and carried the party off with just plain good fun (nice wimen tooo). Best team won. JW was only a one kick difference. Engaland would not have gone home victors without the WHOLE team. Wallabies did us proud. Never gave up, fought the whole game and just 30 secs to go to extra, extra time up goes the ball, up go the flags and as one, up go the 40,000 red and whites.

Excellent. Gonna be hard to top that sporting experience for all. My Engalandish ticket benifactors are still drowning french bubbles by the harbour .... and good on em toooooo!!!!

Oz and juniors, all Rugbyed out for now.
