Atomic Redster Flex Experience

Thread Starter

For those of you skiing/racing in the Atomic Redster, curious to hear your feedback about the flex. Everything I'm reading and hearing is they're really soft - comparatively speaking.  160 Redster = 130 Doberman for example?

Even Atomic don't want them!!!!

they feel softer initially as the shell has some flex in it as well as the conventional flex that we would consider the norm form the cuff

not sure about Atomic not wanting them???

from what i hear most of the athletes have taken to them pretty well after the initial getting used to them, i know some prefer the old boot in certain snow conditions

Hirscher actually softens his boot in the shell a little further by having the locating teeth on the internal chassis removed to allow the shell to flex more through the foot

horses for courses, some love it some don't
