dumb questions

My itinery looks like I have 3 days in Los Angeles and 2 weeks at Heavenly (with a pass for H/NS & Kwood) and 2 weeks at Squaw/Alpine.  I was thinking about the new Squaw pass with Sierra at Tahoeand  upgrading my Squaw Pass from bronze  to silver (any idea how much that is?) to be able to ski at Sierra-at-Tahoe OR getting a Sierra $239 "Sunday-Friday" season pass that'll also (I think) let me ski at Mt High near LA. If the costs are comparable, I may as well check out Mtn High (though I'm told to avoid it).

Does anyone know how much it costs to upgrade the Squaw/Alpine bronze to a silver? Am I right in thinking you can ski up to 10 days free at Mtn High with a  cheap $239 SAT pass? And why have I driven past SAT all these years and gone to Kirkwood instead?wink.gif

i think you should call and ask those questions rather then trust some yahoos on the internet.

Will take you probably at most 5minutes to get the answer on the phone.

As far as your last question, probably because you had a blast at kirkwood.  As long as people are still having a good time, they don't get pushed to try something new.

Why do I keep going to the same places for lunch even though it is just "OK"?  Mainly because I didn't want to risk having a bad lunch.

Mt. High East can be very good if they get enough natural snow to open the whole mountain. Last year it was bad and so far this year they are not open. Mountain High West caters more towards snowboarders.

The current price difference between bronze and silver is $90.  I'd expect the upgrade to be about the same.  Prices go up Dec. 7.  You can call them: 800-403-0206.

My timezone and date means I only have a few hours overlapping the times the pass office is open. (And no, you can't have tommorrow night's Cal Lotto numbers!) beercheer.gif

I'll go with the upgrade by the looks of things. Thanks.
