I have really small thin feet!

Hi,

My feet are Size 4 and quite thin (look like children's feet, ha)

I am a competent skier, happy on blacks if not too icy, but always get really bad pains on the soles of my feet and my shins, I think it is because i am curling up my toes as I ski to get the grip.

Would it help to get narrower boots? What is the best brand for this? Or is there another solution?

Many thanks!

Can't say if narrower boots would help since we don't know your foot width and don't know the boots you are using.  But curling your toes could certainly cause the pain you describe and better fitting boots may fix the problem.  But so also could stance changes such as binding delta or boot ramp.  If you have a "C" width foot you should be using a 98mm boot or narrower.

I have just tended to use rental boots , I did a season last year and padded them out with inner soles, which seemed to help a bit...

the technica race 90, in size 21 is about the smallest adult boot I know of.   Next would be a 22 in the rossi/lange, or technica/nordica race boot in size 22.

try some of them and see.
