Steamboat / Colorado - early mid Jan....

wondering if Jan 10 - 20 should be good in CO ???  (im going to steamboat)

 

Last time i went to CO last year late season and everything was closing (no bowls at vail etc) and feel like my family just messed me up again with this years dates!

 

thoughts...?

Could be great, or not.  But 10 days in Steamboat is probably better than staying home and going to work regardless of conditions.rolleyes.gif

Well nobody can predict the weather, but generally, Steamboat is one of the most reliable CO resorts for December-January snowfall.

Glad you are heading up!  No one can predict weather or conditions. Stats are stats and they are pretty meaningless especially this season for Colorado. Officially speaking there is an even chance of more than average or less than average snow for Steamboat this season. it's a neutral year so historically speaking there's been as many greater than average as there has been less than average seasons in this pattern.

 

I will just be missing you or I would offer a mountain tour. Cheers and I hope you need a snorkel!
