Considering the Black Diamond Factor 110 Ski Boots - any comments appreciated

Thread Starter

I'm currently on Fischer Soma Progressor 120 boots that I just don't think are right for me. The abducted stance is not me and they feel a bit narrow. I've got a friend who wore the Black Diamond Factor 130 boots last season and loved them. Not sure if I need a boot that stiff so was looking at the Factor 110.

Any comments on these boots would be greatly appreciated. I'm an east coast skier (Sunday River) running on Fischer Progressor 1000 skies.

if they fit your friend well, then they will fit you as well.  You both have the same feet, and ski the exact same way I assume?

if that doesn't work, try this thread...

If they don't fit good luck, in all my years for stretching and deforming ski boots these boots, the 130 especially are the hardest by miles to work on!

Agree with both these guys and would also advise not to pay attention to flex numbers and instead determine appropriate flex once the boots are on your feet.
