Compare and contrast Obsethed and Gunsmoke?

I've been on the Gunsmoke, but not the Obsethed. Looking for a Christmas gift for a 6'1" 200# advanced skier. He has the original year Hellbents, but those are a little extreme for most of the powder days we see. He does like them, so I thought a K2 would maybe be a good idea.

I've ridden the Obseth'd on a demo day.

They were very fun, playful, and poppy for boards with almost no camber.

Their radius was very constant, they would not too easily feather out for increasing radius turns, nor respond too well when a tighter line is commanded, but that could be a need for some detuning.

That particular radius was done most excellently in pretty much any condition.

They do smear nicely, and the tails slash off speed like an ax murderer.

I do look forward to demoing the new Nordicas.

Maybe next year the Gunsmoke (a 193 is coming) but for his size now, the 186 might not be enough ski, and the new HB IS more powder oriented. 193 Patron could be a viable option.
