Peer Pressure to hit 90 Foot Pyramid Gap (Video)

Skier, Shaun Moyes, procrastinating dropping into Pyramid Gap in Grizzly Gulch.  He was on top on the hill ready to go but it took him over 30 minutes before he finally got the courage to hit it, partly due to the continual heckling from the camera man.  He then bucks a back-flip over the 90 foot gap.  Pretty funny because most people can relate to feeling this kind of fear before finally caving to the pressure.

Yeah, that's exactly the kind of gutless and juvenile "encouragement" we need more of in skiing....

I dunno, I found it pretty amusing. Seems like it worked out OK for him though I can't say that that sort of encouragement is for everyone.

In defense of the heckler, he wasn't just all talk.  He stepped up and threw a double back-flip over the gap and stuck the landing.  Here's a clip of it. (Sorry about the music, pulled it off an old ski vid that the "heckler" made)
