First time poster, super impressed with the insight here.
I've been skiing K2 Burning Luvs for a year, love em, but I am tired of sinking in the powder. I demo'd the Armada VJJs 175s last year, and they absolutely rocked.
However problem, I am very conservative and religious, and frankly I just can't get past the name of the ski. I know that is silly, but it's where I'm at. I may just suck it up because of how much I loved the skis, but I also want to make sure I've looked at all my options/
I'm 5'4" 140 lbs. Pretty strong legs. Not a super experienced skier, but capable. We will be skiing Breck, Keystone, Vail and Beaver Creek this year. I can ski the whole mountain but choose to sit out some of the hike to bowls like Lake Chutes so I don't wear my legs out too fast.
My budget is about $500 for used skis. Don't care if they are men's or women's, just want to be around the 175 range.
Also considering the S7. Anything else to read up on? I live in TX, so won't be able to demo and would like to buy before our short trips up to save time.
Thanks in advance.
