and btw when i note that these skis (kastle mx78) have pushed me to become a better skier I wish to clarify
that this is due to me being a intermediate with a few skis already under my belt.
had i been, however, a beginner then i would have been perhaps
over my head in understanding what this ski was requiring, as i wouldn't have had either skill base or the time on the hill, or ski model familiarity.
...but with a more solid skill base, albeit only intermediate (get out 40-50x/yr, love taking lessons to refine my skill level),
then it was easier to step up to the challenge.
guess this can be said for any good quality ski really, to help 'up' one's game.
this may sound silly to some, but they've nudged me to become a better skier, like a good mentor,
to ''up my game'' to be more on top of things and refine my technique that much more. so skiing
becomes that much more fun, too.
