All my days seem to blur together but it sure seems by February I was skiing everywhere at Snowbird I like to. There are rocks here and there but that's normal even in big years. I've got a pretty high tolerance for rocks and a low regard for my ski bases so I don't let that bother me. That 500 inches (in a normal season) also falls on the whole mountain, it isn't all rocky. I like the better odds of skiing pow on grassy meadows.
Uh, yeah. Rocks don't bother me much, and bushes not at all. I was just pointing out that overall snowfall is maybe not exactly an equivalent measure between states ... I ski in Utah every season, and I do prefer it to most places I ski here.
