You might also ask the question in the Ask the Boot Guys forum.  Give it a few days because they don't spend their days on the computer.

Where are you thinking of buying the boots?  Have you worked with a boot fitter for yourself?

Good luck!

Suggestions about what?  What boots?  The Boot Guys here will tell you that without seeing her feet, in person, they can't recommend anything.  I know there's at least one fitter in New York on the Who's Who listing in the "Ask the Boot Guys" forum.  You might want to check that out, also read the wikis so you have a good understanding of what is involved in getting her into the right size boot.

There are a few very good boot fitters in NJ, how can make finding a boot simple. There wm's boots up to 106 last. Check out Ray at Pelican, and Gerg at Heino's, to name two.

thanks

I was looking for brand recommendations that tend to run a little wider...

All the brands have deferent last models these day. No more of only one last lines. Some brands have 5 last in their line up. The best thing is find a good boot fitter. The only things that matter are comfort, and fit.
