xc Yellowstone Park

Anyone been to Yellowstone in the winter?  Specifically, I just committed to spending four days interior at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge, and I'm looking for some ski advice.  I've got wide, metal edge BC skis/boots....and narrower touring skis and boots.  My gut says take the BC for float and terrain, but at least one source has assured me that the trails are pretty used and packed and my touring skis will be fine.  BC of course is heavier and slower, touring lighter and faster.  I don't want to drag unnecessary weight around if it is, in fact, unnecessary.

Any input?

The trails are quite pounded down.  Lots of traffic.

You are going to have a great time.  It's an amazing place.
