Choosing a Ski for my Old Man

Thread Starter

Hi all,

Recently my father has expressed  a desire for a new ski, he came asking me for some advice, since I am the ski nut in my family.

I wanted to ask you guys if you could help me get a list together for him to demo.

His stats....

age: 58

Height: 6'

Weight: 190

Ski days a year: 15

Home Mountain: Crystal Mountain Washington.

SKi Style: Mostly stays on groomers, likes short to medium radius turns, is not a particularly aggressive skier, likes to cruise, and enjoys fresh corduroy. He previously skied on a pair of K2 Apache Recons and loved them.

I was trying to think of a list of skis that would be good groomer/cruiser skis that could hold and edge well, be quick edge to edge, while not demanding to be on edge all the time. Maybe something a little more fun then his old recons.

I thought some potential ski might include:

Nordica Steadfast.

K2: Rictors

Rossi E83

Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks

Woop Woop Woop. You have a WINNER. Don't over think it for him, he was happy on the Recon, knew how it worked, the Rictor will be like an old pair of jeans to him.
