Alta December 16, 21-23

I am going to be in the SLC area for business the week of the 17th, so I am taking a few days to head to the hills.  If you're in the area and want to ski, let me know.  I'll be solo, and skiing is more fun with a buddy (plus it's my first time to Alta, so a tour would be awesome!).  I saw SkiSafe is going to be there with his dad, and I hope to catch up with him.  Anyone else interested just let me know!

PS - any recommendations for boot fitting in the area?  daleboot appears to be the only go-to guy, and I don't know if he's interested in looking at my non-custom boots.  Thoughts/guidance appreciated!

Best wishes.

Decent boot fitters include: The Sport Loft in SLC, The Deep Powder House at Alta and Superior Ski at Snowbird. That being said, I have Daleboots and love them.

I should be available that week for some skiing if interested.

Deep Powder Haus was happy to help deal with a hot spot on my old boots that were bought elsewhere.  Had them add Intuition liners added to my current boots last season.

Sweet.  I'll take you up on that.  I'll shoot you a PM when the time gets closer.  Thanks to both of you for the information.

I will second deep powder house. They have a new location in Cottonwood Heights that is convenient if you are staying in SLC. Also the old location at Alta.

I am up at Alta every weekend as well as powder days, so feel free to PM me.

Thanks.  Looks like I know where to go now.  Will hit you up too if I'm in shape to go hard!
