What length range?

I have a pair of lightly used 188cm S7s for sale here. They are mounted with Marker Griffon Demos so no re-drilling needed and you can tinker with your fore aft position easily.

I've got a pair of 177cm Nordica Patron's with Marker Griffon Demo bindings. I bought these and then decided to go up to a 185cm. I will sell them for $500. I will try and attach the link from my e-bay purchase with the details.

I have a pair of Rossignol S7 powder skis for sale.  The S7's are 168 cm in length.  They are new still in the plastic along with brand new Rossignol FKS 180  bindings.  Its a top of the line powder skiing setup.

I just picked these things up and they are HUGE. I am worried they will be too big to handle. I am only 5'7 160, about a level 8 skier. Will I get use to them. I know it depends on the skier, but give me your input. The biggest thing I have ever skied before this is my Fischer misfit which is 177 and 96 underfoot.

I have never skies anything this wide or rockered before

Any technique tips on how to handle them will be greatly appreciated

From what I've read about these (never skied them myself) they definately have a learning curve to them. Don't plan on being amazed the first time you take these bad boys out. But, if you're a level 8 as you say, you should definintely get the hang of them after skiing them a few times. Also, these need to be skied very centered from what I've read. Check TGR for more info on these skis, there's a ton of it over there.

What size did you get? 186 or 196?

I have a pair of 2010 Salomon Rocker 192 with STH16 bindings in near-perfect condition. Dimensions are 147-127-137. The skis are killer deep powder skis with rockered tips and a swallow tail. They have Salomon STH16 bindings with only minor surface scuffs. Bases have only one minor scuff. The skis were edge tuned and hand waxed late season last year.

I estimate they have seen a total of 20 days of skiing. They have only been drilled once for a men’s size 8 boot. I'd let them go for $400.

I'm also looking for a ski I would only use off piste. I'm a big guy - 6' 5" and about 235 lbs.  When skiing cat or hell I usually have a Snowpulse avy pack with shovel and probe - probably another 15 pounds. I was thinking of DPS Lotus 138s.  I used to use pontoons. I liked them but found that the fore/aft (especially the aft) stability wasn't great.

Any recommendations?  Or comments about the Lotus 138 for a heavier guy?
