Oakley Fire Iridium vs Dark Grey

Thread Starter

Good day,

I will be purchasing some Oakley Airbrake goggles and I have the choice of 2 lenses.  My first lense will be the HI yellow as I do mostly night skiing, my second choice can either be Fire Iridium or Dark Grey.  What are the pros and cons for each one?  Since, I will be using the HI Yellow at night, I would be using the second set for daytime.

Thank You

Justin

This is really personal thing, so I doubt someone else can help you with this. For me personally... both fire iridium and dark grey are way to dark for skiing. Unless you are skiing only in bright sun up on glaciers :) So only pros of fire iridium for skiing is, that lens looks cool. But for everything else, it's just too dark for me. Personally I ski (night and day, fog or bright sun up on glaciers) with G30 lenses, since I want to see stuff, and I don't have problems if they are a bit too light sometimes. But as I said, that's personal thing, and what fits me, doesn't mean it will fit you.
