Any websites carrying Salomon race skis?

I am intrigued by the Salomon race ski line (both the race stock and the cheaters) due to the incorporation of a rubber-dampening layer, not too different from the Kastle MX line.

Trouble is, they are no where to be found in this country, apparently.

Are there any European (or otherwise) online ski dealers which sell these skis?

Nope, I didn't know.

The pictures didn't make the salomons look like double-decks, but I'll take your word for it.

Yes, they are basically the same. You don't notice the double deck on the Solomon's because the deck continues the top sheet graphics rather than being black or white like the atomics.

My goodness, and they had me fooled paying Alexis Pinturault to ski the flashy black (now sky blue) Salomon 2Vs while Carlo Janka and Marcel Hirscher are rocking the Atomic D2s.

Two identical race skis from different brand?  I guess Dynastar and Rossi are still at it.  But why?

it's very common
Salomon/Atomic
Rossi/Dyna
Nordica/Blizzard

saves costs in RND and has same impact on sales...

This is only for race skis tho, individually all those companies are separated entities with different products.

also if you notice on the podium they do not have the skis they raced on, they have production models, which are shorter (fit better in the camera shot) and look different from each other ;)

Usually some junior gear too.

Hi, the Salomon Race skis that are listed on their website are not being imported to the US. Your best bet would be contacting one of the european ski sale web sites (there are many british and german ones where you can communicate easily with them).  Even the specific to country ebay sites. You'll have to deal with some shipping/customs costs.

The Salomons are not exactly the same as Atomics, but are corporate cousins (no Double deck on the Salomons) if you watch slo-mo of world cup race from last year, you can see differences between brands of race skis on how they work at speed. The salmons were present on the World Cup last year after some absence and looked a little different than the Atomics.
