Marker Rotamats

Looking for some Marker Rotamat bindings. Preferably the Explodamat with brake if possible. These were current when brakes came in and continued on with brakes as a pro deal only. Market by this stage was focusing on it step ins and it new rotamat that was bigger and didn't "Explode" (break in half as part of the releases mechanism). Much to the annoyance of Marker's marketing people racers continued to race on Explodamats for years after they were discontinued. The toe on these binding was a stand out too. Lots of travel and snap back. twin cups on the boot corners, no spring pre-tention.

Ideally I'm looking for the MRR version in white and red with race springs.

I have three pairs of Rotamat FD heels with M4 toes, and a pair of red MRR Racing bindings (from, I think, the 1990s) with brakes.  Two of the Rota/FD sets are on late 1980s GS skis (Rossi 3G and Kastle Synergy) with Salomon rental brakes adapted to work just fine.  The MRRs and the third set of Rota/M4s are in a box gathering dust...Also a couple of sets of non-exploding later Rotamats and a step-in heel (M44, I think).

Explodomats - thanks for the definition. !

The Rotamats I had in the 70's (prebrake days) malfunctioned when I was skiing along at 20mph.

I suddenly pitched forward for no apparent reason and landed flat on my face. I picked myself up, uninjured, and

found a Rotomat heel in pieces. The threaded side hooks were unscrewed from the long barrel nuts. I found and

reassembled the parts on the slope and skied down. Think I later used Locktite to prevent this from reoccurring.
