So, I am now finally buying my own pair of skis and boots and everything I need. I will be on the park mostly as well as the mountain what do you recomend for that I have been looking at the SPKS' by Salomon but I was really wondering if I brought that boot on to a black diamond or even a double black would it really be a lot more difficult for me to ski with those? I really need help what boot is best for park as well as some tough mountain trails. Thanks, but first off I really dont want anything big and bulky again I have always had that...

Sorry just Dave's idea of fun.    It is impossible for us to answer your question.  The best boot is the one that fits best or can be made to fit best and has the features and flex characteristics you like.  Without seeing your foot, impossible to say.

cmerrit,

Regardless of where you ski----You need a boot that fits correctly---read the WIKI "Which boot will work for me"at the top- of "Ask The Boot Guy's".  It covers most of the items that will affect your skiing, the biggest one, finding the correct size shell to fit your feet.  Over 90% of folks who have there own boots have bought them too big.

By the way a ski boot needs to hold your feet into the back of the shell----I don't think a 2 buckle boot can do that.  If you want to flip in the park get a little softer flexing 4 buckle then it will work out on the hill.  also flex is relative to how much you weigh so if you are heavier get a higher flex number  boot.  The best long term advice we could give would be to seek out a good boot fitter and let them work their magic.
