Don't post very often so be easy :-)
Bit about me
49 years old, 178lbs, 5 foot 9 inches, reasonably fit, level 7 to 8 ski about 40 days a year in europe.
Spend most of my time off piste, (hike for turns, but walking, not skins!), enjoy trees, but no switch or jumping off big stuff
what i would like
In europe on deep days, which are not very often, i normally ski on a now quite old pair of jj's, in 185, otherwise a pair of rossi s3 in 177 is the daily ski, but to be honest the s3's are nearly as good as the jj's when it gets deep
I have always wondered if something wider / bigger (silly!) would be fun on a really deep day (about 3 days a year to be honest!) and my jj's probably have 1 more base grind left and thats it, so will need some more at the end of next season anyway.
so choice is some last season pon2oons in 179 or hell bents in 179cm or some new jj's (but they are 3 times the price of the others :-((
I already have bindings that will fit, but the JJ's are "only" 115mm the others are huge, (132 centre) i do need to be able to get to lifts and then back home..........so are the hell bents and pon2oons a silly idea......middle aged dreaming????
