Did anyone use this last season?

I used the MB 77 most of last winter in the east as both a base prep and a training wax since we had perfect conditions for moly, (man made, with numerous freeze thaw cycles). I thought it was Ok as a base prep and excellent, given the conditions, as a training wax. I like the Dominator base prep better but the Race Werks SBC Graphite is my favorite base prep. Very soft and slick.

Yeh, the MB77 grabbed my interest too.      Did you get a chance to let it play with other super-cold waxes?

I don't think of the MB 77 as a cold wax, more a moderate (i.e., I think it is between a CH 7 and an 8). But to answer your question, I did not mix it with cold waxes (we did not have any real cold weather in PA last winter). I tried it once mixed with a Holmenkol flouro race wax and I did not like it as well as the Holmenkol graphite/moly additive. But I was actually very impressed with it as a straight wax. I used it a lot for gate training on a Nastar course and had some very good times relative to other waxes but again, the conditions tended to be right in a moly sweet spot most nights. I thought it was a good value for the performance level. However, it is sold as a base prep and I was not that keen on it in that respect. I normally used the Race Werks SBC for hot scrape, then put the MB 77 on, let it sit a day or 2 to saturate the bases, then decided if I should use a daily wax or just go with the moly fluoro (I don't think it has much fluoro). I bought one bar last winter and don't have much left. I may or may not get another bar. I have a block of the Dominator base prep with SBC additive I think I'll try this winter,
