HEAD REV 90, 105 or other?

I'm currently skiing on HEAD i.Magnum which are brilliant but was looking at adding a set of REV 90 or 105 to my inventory for skiing the west (BC/AB/US). Is there a big difference between the REV 90 and 105 and is there enough of a difference between the REV 90 and my supershapes to make having both worthwhile?

I'm an fairly advanced skier on-piste but a total rookie in deep snow. I'm also fairly large @ 6'1" + 260lbs

Does anyone have any advice about this? I'm planning an 8 day trip to Fernie/Panorama/Big White this January and while I love my current skis for groomed runs I'd like to build experience in the bowls and trees this trip.

IMO, you are too large a skier for the 105. It's a very soft ski that lacks in torsional stiffness. It can work well for lighter skiers, but if you're looking at anything over about 180-185lbs, look elsewhere. There are A LOT of skis out there that will suit your need. Unless you're getting skis from Head at cost or the like, I'd look at some other manufactures' skis for your particular situation.

Thanks for the reply. I've also read your comments in the 105 review thread as well.

I looks like I'm going to have to try some. I'd still love some recommendations for places to start.
