womans ski for a 13 yo girl?

My 13 yo daughter has outgrown her K2 luvs.  She is 5' 4" and almost 100lbs as of this post, she may be 5' 6" by the time she gets to ski around Xmas.  She likes the blues, but when needed she can ski an easy black here in PA(Elk) or Killington last year.  She takes 7 lessons a year with the local ski club, so she carves most of the time, but is VERY relaxed and will not push very hard for the forseeable future.  Because of her height it seems like we have to go with a womans ski, so I'm looking for some insight.  I saw Volkl Oceana, Salomon Lava, and Atomic Cloud 7 that appear to fit the bill for a young skier moving into adult equipment.  Can somebody help?  As you can tell by my list I'm trying to keep the costs under $400, if possible.

You might get some ideas from this, although it's a little dated since it's from a few years ago.

thanks marznc,  I also found a couple of threads here from last year, but it seems like most of these girls are more aggressive than my daughter.  I hope that with better suited skis she will gain some confidence and start to push more, but I can't buy something that she can't control now.  That might make her even more tenative.

There was a thread here talking about something almost exactly like this a month or so ago.

If I recall correctly, we talked about skis that would target that age group nicely like the Fischer Koa line and the Atomic Century which is offered in a smaller adult size as well as a tweener ski.

I've tagged a few on the right side of the page and will add some more as I think of them.

Cool!  When I go to something tagged, then it brings up relevant threads.  It's hard to think of good search keywords some times.  My 12yo daughter is going to need something else by spring.

billdc:  Did you find this thread?  13yo girl who isn't aggressive.
