Schizo's worth the upcharge on powder skis?

I have finally decided on the powder ski I want to get.  Found a new 2012 Line Mr. Pollard's Opus for a very good price.  I wanted to get the Atomic Automatic but it would have cost me $250 more than the Opus.  I can also get a pair of 2013 Marker Griffons for the ski for $200 however if I want to get the Schizo's it will cost me $339.  The guy at my local ski shop when he was pricing out the Atomic setup told me that it is a must to have the Schizo's on powder skis so you can adjust the bindings depending on snow conditions.  I have never owned skis with adjustable bindings so wanted to know if guys that have used the Schizo's think it would be worth it for me to spend the extra $139 on them.

Thanks,

Chuck

I have adjustable/ removable bindings and there are advantages but for a powder specific ski I wouldn't pay the extra for the adjustable bindings. Sounds like a salesman pushing for an upsell to me.
If an all mountain do a bit of everything ski, then maybe consider an adjustable. IMO

I'd save the $ since it isn't like you will be taking the skis into the park or pipe. Spend the saving on some decent insoles for your boots.

If you must have something really adjustable, you can find the demo version of the Griffon for the same cost as the Schizo ( two screws instead of one). It weighs about the same--perhaps a tad less--and can occasionally be found at a discount.

Thanks guys I was thinking the same thing just wanted a few outside opinions.   All set on insoles for my boots though got a pair of custom superfeet ortho's 2 years ago.
