Need guidance on somenew skis and boots, PLEASE (6'5... 275)

Thread Starter

I am a big athletic guy.  I skis all-moutain and can hold my own.  Today I ski Dynastar Legend ProRider 194 with Marker Jester turned up to 12.5.  Nordica Beat 10 boots (30.5) 2007.  I ski advance and expert in the morning, afternoon groomers with my kids.  like some some during the day just to prove I can still ski them and on bad snow days I hat the jumps at the park.

I am looking to add a larger footprint on ski maybe a 140/120/130 or larger with rocker.  I do not want it to be a noodle under feet based on my size.  Not sure a powder skis will work. I ski Utah mostly and 2-3 other resorts a year to mix it up.  this year Big Sky and Taos.

Boots;  I have a size 13 narrow but have large calves.  Want comfort but not too much flex.

Any guidance will be appreciated.

thanks

No comment on the skis, I don't know enough to help but for boots I'd see a professional fitter, they are the single most important purchase you will make in this sport and it's well worth the time and money. I'm sure if you post in the ask the boot guys forum one of the guys will you steer you in the right direction to someone close to you with a good reputation.
