Staying at the Canyons - any good food options nearby?

Will be staying at Westgate for 4 days in January.  Any suggestions for decent and not super expensive dining options close to the area?  Stayed there 2 years ago and the few restaurants at the hotels near the base were both very mediocre and overpriced.

I almost laughed when I saw your post, but then realized the dates you were there. Canyons was just named a Top Ten overall resort by SKI Magazine, and part of the reason is the food. A good part of the $50 million overhaul was the food, and those changes likely took place just after you were last there. Check out The Farm, The Bistro (gourmet Kosher), Clould Dine (on the mountain), Slopes at the Waldorf Astoria, etc. Even the gourmet hot chocolate bar is to die for. The Farm is award winning, and everything in the Waldorf Astoria makes it deserving as being rated one of the top hotels in the USA.

You can get more info on the restaurants (includung those I didn't mention) at the Canyons website and the EPICSKI Canyons site. See: http://www.canyonsresort.com/dining.html?season=winter

Bargain food? What are you looking for (family, romantic, etc.)? I'll try to make suggestions in Park City.

Ess gesunt at the Bistro, and Bon Appetit eveywhere else there.
