I see a few of the Ice Coasters can't even wait until a WROD is operational. Now they're skiing when the snow report says "trace".

Any chance the lift(s) will be spinning at one of the resorts by Oct 15?

Inquiring minds want to know.

A-Basin won't say anything specific, but they're going to try to be open by then:

Ski season is here!  Yay!

Once A-Basin and Loveland are open, I have never seen them close until the end of the season (although A-Basin did do Friday-Sunday only from early June to July 4th a few years ago)

This is what we woke up to this morning

It seemed warmer than it has been yesterday morning and we did get a fair bit of rain in the afternoon- it did not seem even close to snow at 9 K, but neighbors who drove up from the Front Range said it was snowing at Loveland when they passed through the tunnel.

Loveland has said they will NOT be open for the weekend, but I expect both LL and A-Basin to be open by the middle of the week, if not sooner.

A solid couple of inches at Copper base

Yesterday, from ABasin, a true WROD. It looks better today, though.

Sorry, that is false info.

Wild Mountain in Minnesota was open sooner, and open to everyone, not just season pass holders.  Pass holders only <> "open", sorry.

I played golf in Leadville today with a Keystone bear...a guy in front of us was wearing shorts and took off his sweater just before teeing off...a beautiful day, but not wintery at all.
